3. This Is Going To Hurt: Secret Diaries of a junior Doctor by Adam Kay

This narrative of this book is amazing! Pay attention to how the author explains his experience, you could adopt some of his techniques in your personal statement. It is a great read also! After six years working on NHS hospital wards Adam Kay, turned his medical diaries, covering everything from bouncing babies to phantom illnesses, into a hilarious new book titled This is going to hurt.
